Beautifully made and comfortable out of the box. No feeling of lead weights on your legs like the Doc Martens of my youth!

I also intentionally ordered a slightly larger size than more normal to accommodate thick winter socks.

I was a little surprised about how light the color was, but I loved this shoe immediately. I wore them around the house and it took about a day of real world use to break in. Perfectly comfortable after that. I own enough OOAS shoes to know to size up bc they tend to be narrow

I continue to be super impressed by not only the quality of OOAS footwear but the comfort as well!! These boots, right out of the box, were super comfortable. I wore them ALL day with no hint of discomfort. I did find, at least for me, that they run a bit big, especially on a narrow foot.

I've been looking for a patent combat style boot, and came across this boot online. It is gorgeous in person, and I wore it dancing right out of the box - no blisters, no rubbing, no tightness. I'm amazed at how supportive the sole is as well. I've never spent this much on a pair of shoes, but the quality is outstanding. Will be saving up for my next pair of shoes, as I don't think I can ever go back to "typical."
