Women Supporting Women

As a female founded, funded and operated business the future of both our company and our community is deeply connected to the empowerment of women and girls. We see it as our responsibility to use our platform to amplify the voices of female-centric nonprofit organizations. In honor of our 10th year anniversary in 2021, we are committed to donating $1 million over 10 years to promote equal access, equal pay and equal rights for all women and girls who mean business. Buy from a Black Woman is a national nonprofit that provides educational and financial resources for Black Women Business Owners. With their online directory they encourage supporters to #BuyFromABlackWoman. The Office of Angela Scott donated 100% of net proceeds October 7-11, 2021 for a total of $15,000 to support their mission.

Dress for Success

Dress for Success® is a global nonprofit organization that empowers women to achieve economic independence. The Office of Angela Scott donated $15,000 and over sixty pairs in July 2021 to their Los Angeles-based Worldwide-West branch, and marked a new tradition, Pay it Forward Friday, by donating $17,500 on Black Friday 2021 to Dress for Success Worldwide.

The Mom Project

The Mom Project’s RISE Program is a scholarship program committed to accelerating equity for moms of color by providing access to upskill certifications while harnessing the power of community, support and job placement. The Office of Angela Scott donated 100% of net proceeds from May 1-10, 2021 for a total of $20,000 on Mother’s Monday to support RISE’s efforts.

AAUW

The American Association of University Women’s mission is bold - to advance gender equity through research, education, and advocacy. The Office of Angela Scott donated 100% of net proceeds on International Women’s Day in 2021 for a total of $20,000 to support the Education & Training Fund and we gave the first $10,000 For Women Who Mean Business® Career Development Grant to a deserving candidate to help her advance her career.

Higher Heights

Higher Heights is the only national organization providing Black women with a political home exclusively dedicated to Black female representation, voting participation and advance progressive policies. The Office of Angela Scott donated $10,000 towards their efforts to build collective political power and expand the number of Black women elected in leadership positions.

Black Girls CODE is on a mission to change the narrative surrounding racial and gender diversity in STEM and create safe spaces where girls can see themselves reflected in tech innovation. The Office of Angela Scott contributed $10,000 to empowering their girls to go from consumers to creators and to use technology as an avenue to be agents of change.

For more than 60 years, Girls Inc. has inspired girls in their community to be strong, smart, and bold. The Office of Angela Scott donated 100% of net proceeds on Valentine’s Day for a total of $20,000 in 2020 to support their after school programming which equips girls to lead fulfilling and productive lives, break the cycle of poverty and become role models in their community.
