How do I know which size will fit me best?

Our size chart on each product page gives common conversions, and each product description contains helpful hints on whether it might be necessary to size up or down in a specific style. What is the difference between a regular width and a wide width shoe?
A regular width shoe has a foot bed designed to fit women with a narrow to standard toe bed. Wide width shoes, on the other hand, have a fuller foot bed, more suited to wider or more sensitive feet. Not sure which is best for you? Go ahead and try both - we offer free shipping and returns and want you to love your shoes. I just received my shoes, but they feel a little stiff. What can I do?
Goodyear-welted shoes do feel a tad stiff at first and require longer to break in, but they’ll comfortably mold to your feet with wear. Our tip for making the process a little bit easier? Rub a beeswax candle on the inside top edge of the shoe that rests against the back of your heel to soften the leather and eliminate the risk of blisters. Trust us, this actually works.

How should I care for my handbag?
How quickly will my order be processed?
Domestic orders placed Monday-Friday before 10am PST will be processed the same day, and orders placed after 10am PST Monday-Friday, or on Saturday or Sunday, will process the following business day. This excludes national holidays.
International orders will be processed within 2-3 business days.
Orders are processed and delivered Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

What if I need to change or cancel my order?
We process orders quickly, but we’ll always try our best to make changes before we ship your order. The best way to do so is to call us at 805-845-4350, Monday through Friday 8:30am-5pm PST or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
What’s the status of my order?
Once you’ve received your shipping confirmation email you can check on the status of your order by clicking the provided tracking link, or by visiting the courier’s website and entering your tracking number. If you’re having trouble finding your confirmation email, please email us at email@example.com and we will provide an update.
My tracking says delivered but I have not received my package yet:
We’re sorry to hear your goods have not arrived yet. Your package could have been delivered to a nearby neighbor, the shipping carrier left your package in a different area on your property, or the package was marked as delivered by the carrier and it has not been dropped off yet. If you did not receive your package as expected based on your tracking number, please allow 24 hours and then contact the shipping carrier with your concerns.
Please note, once the package exits our warehouse, the shipping carrier is responsible for signature requests and lost product.
How is tax collected on purchases?
Many states have adopted requirements for online retailers to collect sales tax based on the volume or number of sales within each municipality. Accordingly, we collect sales tax in the following states: CA, CO, GA, IL, MA, MD, MI, MN, NC, NJ, NY, OH, PA, TX, VA, WA. Tax laws are complex and subject to change. As such, the states in which we collect sales tax will be updated according to legal requirements.
At The Office of Angela Scott, we are committed to creating timeless, beautiful footwear crafted for Women Who Mean Business. As you may know, we are honored to work with a small family-owned and operated Portuguese factory that practices traditional Goodyear Welted production using sustainably sourced materials.
Due to the continued unpredictability in the supply chain, we will now be offering an option to pre-order. All of our handcrafted shoes available for pre-order will be tagged with their estimated ship-by date.
Pre-order will provide you with confirmation that you will be allocated this fabulous silhouette. Upon arrival of your shoes to our warehouse, you will receive a shipping confirmation email letting you know these beauties are on their way to you!
Payment is charged immediately at checkout, not when the item ships.
The “Ships by Date” listed is an approximation and is subject to change based on unforeseen circumstances. You will receive a shipping confirmation email as soon as your item ships.
Our return policy begins on the date your pre-order is received at your doorstep. You will have 14 days to return your product once received.

What is Shop Pay?
Shop Pay is a payment option that allows you to split your purchase amount into 4 equal, biweekly installment payments—with 0% interest, no hidden or late fees, and no impact on your credit score. How much does shipping cost in the US?
We offer complimentary ground shipping on all orders. If you need your item(s) sooner, please select an expedited shipping option (for US customers only).
How fast is your shipping?
Depending on where you are located, UPS Ground typically takes 5 to 14 business days. Please note: UPS Standard Overnight shipments are only delivered Monday-Friday. All orders placed after 10am PST will ship out the following day.
Where do you ship from?
We ship all online orders from our shipping facility in New Jersey.
Do you offer expedited shipping?
Yes! You can select Next Day or 2nd Day shipping for an additional fee at checkout.
Do you ship internationally?
We currently offer international shipping with two options:
- International Express Shipping (2 to 6 business days)
- International Standard Shipping (6 to 14 business days)
International shipping rates are calculated at checkout, and vary based on destination. Please note, all international shipping options include prepaid applicable duty, customs & taxes for your country of residence (DDP).

RETURNS & EXCHANGES
What is your return policy?
We are happy to offer a refund, store credit or exchange for orders that meet the following criteria:
- Items must be postmarked within 14 days of receipt.
- Items must be returned in their original condition (will not accept damaged, altered, or worn) and must include all original packaging, box and dust bag.
- Returns and exchanges must include a copy of the order’s receipt.
- Please use our return label to insure a refund, store credit or exchange.
The following conditions also apply:
- Items marked "Final Sale" and/or discounted 40% or more may only be returned for an exchange or store credit.
- Items purchased from other retail partners are not eligible for returns.
- Items marked "Sample" are not eligible for returns.
Can I return something I purchased on sale?
Items marked Final Sale and/or discounted 40% or more are available for exchange or store credit only.
10th Anniversary Sale (11/15 to 11/25/21) prices cannot be combined with other offers and cannot be applied to prior purchases.
How do I return something from my online order (US)?
We offer a pre-paid return label for your order for a simple return process.
- Visit returns.theofficeofangelascott.com to request a prepaid return label to send back your item(s).
- Print out the label & attach to the box. Drop off your package at a UPS facility. We recommend making a note of the tracking number for your reference.
- You will receive an email notification once your return has been processed. Please allow 14-21 days from the time you mail your order for your return to be processed. Eligible refunds can only be credited to the card used for your original order.
How do I return something from my online order (International)?
We are happy to accept returns on international orders (per the above return policy), however we do not offer prepaid return labels for orders shipped outside of the United States. Please note we do not provide refunds for any duties, taxes or shipping costs. We recommend using a traceable and insured service for your return, as The Office of Angela Scott is not responsible for items lost in transit. What does Final Sale mean?
All items marked as "Final Sale" and/or discounted 40% or more may be exchanged for a different item or returned for store credit only.
What happens if I purchase a gift for someone that is Final Sale?
Items purchased as gifts are still applicable to our Final Sale policy, and may be exchanged for a different item or returned for store credit only.
What does Sample Sale mean?
Sample Sale items are one of a kind, past seasons and archived styles. These styles can be gently used. All items marked as "Sample Sale" or “Sample” are unavailable for return. We do not accept exchanges, return for store credit, or refunds to original form of payment on these items.
Our 10th Anniversary Sale Policy
All 10th Anniversary Sale (11/15 to 11/25/21) prices cannot be combined with other offers and cannot be applied to prior purchases.
How do I use a discount code?
To redeem a discount code, add your desired items to your shopping cart and select “Check Out.” Enter your discount code in the field labeled “Gift card or discount code” and select “Apply.”
Can I use more than one discount code?
At this time, our system only allows one code to be entered at a time.

Do Gift Cards expire?
Nope. The gift card will only expire when the full amount has been used.
Can I order a gift card in a different amount than the options offered?
We are more than happy to help you with a custom gift card. Just email us at email@example.com with the dollar amount you wish to purchase and we can send you a link.

The pair I want is sold out, will you be getting more?
Our seasonal collections are produced in limited quantities, but our team tends to have clever ways of tracking things down. Give them a ring at 805-845-4350 and they just might be able to find what you’re looking for. You also can select the "Email Me When Available" button on any sold out product page to be notified immediately when that item is restocked.
Where does the name The Office of Angela Scott come from?
When Angela Scott launched in 2012, she wanted the collection to have a strong, sophisticated, traditional feeling. Hence "The Office” of Angela Scott, which is a nod to her grandfather and her father, because their “office” was where the magic happened, creativity flourished, and great things came to life. Perhaps even more so, it’s come to represent a spirit of community - the collective power of all women. As Angela would say, “We are the office.”
Why are the shoes named Mr., Miss, Mrs. etc.?
Every one of the shoes Angela has designed is actually directly related to people that have inspired her; men, women, friends, family and a lot of times people she’s just met. There’s a saying: "If you're always slightly overdressed, you're never underdressed." The courtesy titles are her way of dressing up and bringing to life beautifully crafted women’s shoes.
Can these shoes be resoled?
Yes! Our shoes are made using the Goodyear welt construction, one of the oldest and most traditional shoe techniques. This method of hand stitching the soles to the uppers (versus cement construction or gluing together) allows the shoe to be repaired and resoled and ultimately provides our clients with an investment piece for many years to come.
Are your shoes long-lasting?
We believe in producing ethical and timeless shoes that prioritize craftsmanship, materials and construction over trend, and in turn reduce landfill waste and fast fashion consumption. Our shoes are Goodyear welted. Goodyear Welt construction is one of the oldest, most traditional shoe crafting techniques. This method of stitching the soles to the uppers with a welt is durable, breathable, and inherently sustainable as it also allows the shoe to be dismantled, repaired and resoled and ultimately last you a lifetime.
